7 Youths Remanded for Public Disturbance in Kololi

Seven young men have been remanded in custody following allegations of causing a public disturbance at Kololi Tavern on August 16.

The accused — Mo Lamin Cham, Omar Mbaye, Musa Bojang, Gibbie Camara, Sarjo Darboe, Lamin Dibba, and Pabie Jammeh — all pleaded not guilty to a charge of common nuisance.

Police stated that the group had obstructed and inconvenienced members of the public in the area, with residents reportedly filing several complaints about their behavior.

During the hearing, the prosecutor requested an adjournment to call witnesses and asked that the youths remain in custody to prevent further disruption in the community.

The case has been postponed until September 3 for continuation.
