The Ambassador of Guinea Bissau, Luis Domingos Camara de Barros, praised President Adama Barrow and The Gambia for fostering a welcoming environment for Guinea Bissau citizens living in the country. Speaking at the Kombo Beach Hotel during the 51st anniversary of Guinea Bissau’s independence, he highlighted the strong bilateral relationship between the two nations. He noted, “Today, our country is a proud nation of over two million people, a significant player in the region, and dedicated to the values that unite us.”
He emphasized the recent advancements in democracy, individual freedoms, and infrastructure, along with economic reforms aimed at future growth. He encouraged visits to Guinea Bissau to witness the ongoing changes.
