The Junior Foundation for Kids in Need, a non-profit organization, recently donated essential food and non-food items to the SOS Children’s Village in Bakoteh.
The contribution included a bag of rice, two bags of detergents, three packs of soap, five packets of nappies, and D5000 in cash. These items were part of the proceeds from the RammUnisex Kids fashion show held on December 29, 2024, at Jama Hall.
Nyahally Samateh, the founder and CEO of RammUnisex, shared her inspiration for the initiative, stating, “Last year, I came across a social media post highlighting the urgent need to support children. This motivated us to begin our efforts at the SOS Children’s Village, with a long-term goal of reaching underprivileged children across the country.” She also encouraged collaborations with like-minded organizations and philanthropists.
Marie Mendy, a staff member at SOS Children’s Village, expressed gratitude for the donation and commended the foundation’s dedication to supporting children in need.
Since its establishment in 2021, the Junior Foundation has remained committed to improving the lives of underprivileged children throughout the country.
