Morocco U20 Secures Second Consecutive Win Against Sierra Leone

Morocco’s U20 national team continued their impressive form with a 2-0 victory over Sierra Leone in a friendly match on Saturday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé.

Building on their earlier 1-0 win against Ghana, the Atlas Cubs displayed confidence and control throughout the game. Ismail Alaoud opened the scoring in the 26th minute, while Adnan Khroubi sealed the victory with a late goal in stoppage time.

With two consecutive wins, Morocco appears well-prepared for the upcoming U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), set to take place in Côte d’Ivoire from April 26 to May 18. Their next challenge is a rematch against Ghana, as they aim for a flawless training camp performance.

The young Moroccan squad faces a tough road ahead in AFCON, having been placed in a challenging group alongside Nigeria, Egypt, and South Africa—three teams with strong tournament histories.
