Smart Africa’s Didier Nkurikiyimfura Calls for Stronger Africa-Europe Partnerships at Como Lake Conference

Didier Nkurikiyimfura, Senior Director of Strategy and Growth at Smart Africa, advocated for stronger Africa-Europe collaborations during his participation at the Como Lake 2024 Conference in Italy. Speaking at a session on digital transformation, Nkurikiyimfura highlighted the critical role technology plays in advancing socio-economic growth across Africa.

 

He emphasized that Africa is poised for unprecedented development, driven by its young, tech-savvy population and innovative leadership. Nkurikiyimfura stressed that deeper cooperation between Africa and Europe is essential to sustain this momentum, particularly in areas like digital infrastructure, fintech, AI, and digital health.
