Hon. Baboucarr O. Joof, The Gambia’s Minister of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration, and Employment, praised the initiative, noting that the Gambia E-Market Platform will help businesses expand their global reach, improve competitiveness, and drive economic progress. He acknowledged the support of international partners and called for continued collaboration to ensure the long-term success of these digital tools.
A live demonstration of Gamlumo showcased its function as a digital marketplace designed to connect Gambian businesses with global markets. The platform is expected to play a vital role in boosting national economic growth.
