Uganda Cranes Fight to Draw as Rwanda Falls to Algeria Again

Uganda Cranes put up a spirited performance on Monday night, earning a 1-1 draw against The Gambia in an international friendly held at the Stade de Marrakech Annexe in Morocco.

Roger Mato gave the Cranes a bright start by scoring the opening goal. However, The Gambia pulled level just before halftime, with Alasana Manneh calmly converting a penalty.

Meanwhile, it was a tough evening for Rwanda’s Amavubi, who lost 2-0 to Algeria. This marks the second time in a few days that Rwanda has been defeated by the North African side with the same scoreline.

Looking ahead, Tuesday promises more action, with Kenya’s Harambee Stars set to face Chad, while Burundi go up against Mauritania.
