Oumie Jallow, a young woman currently on remand for allegedly killing her co-wife in Brikama Jalangbang, has recently given birth while in custody.
A source familiar with the case revealed to The Standard that due to the birth of her baby, Oumie has been relocated from the prison to SOS Children’s Village in Bakoteh. The move, according to officials, is in consideration of the newborn’s welfare and to ensure a more suitable environment for the child.
