A devastating road accident occurred in Kafuta when a truck drove into a crowd of football fans, leaving one person dead and 43 others injured, police confirmed.
The incident took place on Sunday evening, prompting a swift response from emergency services. According to a police statement, “We can confirm that 44 individuals were involved, with one fatality and 43 others sustaining injuries.”
Many of the injured were transported to Ndemban Clinic for further medical care. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
