A tragic helicopter crash in southwestern Turkey on Sunday morning resulted in the deaths of all four individuals on board. The ambulance helicopter, which had just taken off from a hospital in the city of Mugla, struck the hospital building before crashing into a nearby field.
The crew consisted of two pilots, a doctor, and a healthcare worker. They were en route to the neighboring province of Antalya to transport a patient.
Mugla Governor Idris Akbiyik reported that heavy fog was present at the time of the accident. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
