Young Man Dies After Smoking Kush in Gambia

A young man has died after allegedly smoking Kush, a dangerous synthetic drug that has become a growing threat across West Africa.

 

The incident occurred on Saturday in Old Yundum. According to police, the victim, identified as Ousman Jallow, collapsed shortly after using the substance. He was rushed to Kanifing General Hospital but was later confirmed dead.

 

Authorities have expressed concern over the rising use of Kush among the youth, warning that drug abuse poses a serious public health risk. The police are continuing their investigation and have called on members of the public to share any information that could help combat the spread of illegal drugs in the country.
